DV Counselor Training
Domestic Violence Counselor Training offers a 40-hour video-based certification program designed to meet the requirements of California Penal Code 1203.098 for facilitating court-certified Batterer’s Intervention Programs. This comprehensive training encompasses lectures, presentations, and interactive components, equipping participants with the essential skills to work within Batterer Intervention Programs and the broader domestic violence intervention community.
New Vision Counseling
New Vision Counseling Center is a nonprofit organization providing affordable counseling and psychological services to the community. With a team of trainees, associates, and licensed therapists, we offer individual, couples, and family therapy across multiple locations. Partnering with Rhombus, we ensure accessible mental health support, particularly for underserved populations in San Diego.
Rhombus Coaching
Rhombus Coaching partners with individuals to maximize personal and professional potential through services like individual, family, couples, executive, and group coaching. The coaching process helps clients define goals, formulate plans, and provides structure, encouragement, and support.
Rhombus Counseling
Rhombus Counseling provides comprehensive therapeutic services, including individual, family, and couples therapy, as well as psychological testing and group therapy. Specialized programs address issues such as domestic violence, parenting, anger management, and substance abuse, with options for court-mandated classes.
Genesis Recovery
Genesis Recovery is a state-licensed, accredited, nonprofit drug and alcohol rehabilitation center devoted to restoring the lives of men afflicted with addiction. Their multifaceted approach includes medication, clinical therapy, 12-step programs, faith integration, education, and community support, fostering individual growth and lasting recovery.
ECTLC
East County Transitional Living Center (ECTLC) provides emergency housing, a one-year ministry program, family restoration services, employment training, youth services, education opportunities, and a vegetation management program. Their mission is to break the cycle of homelessness, addiction, and poverty, offering a safe, stable, no-cost shelter and comprehensive support services.
La Mesa Counseling
San Diego DVRP (Domestic Violence Recovery Program) offers court-approved classes such as domestic violence offender programs, anger management, child abuse treatment, parenting classes, and substance abuse treatment. These classes are approved by San Diego and Imperial Valley Probation & CDCR and are available via Zoom to support remote and underserved populations.
Rhombus Training
Rhombus Training specializes in certifications and training for counseling and psychology professionals, including programs for Domestic Violence Counselor Training, Lay Counselor, Certified Life Coach, Peer Support Specialist, and Applied Biblical Psychology. Many trainings meet continuing education credit requirements under the California Board of Behavioral Sciences.
Rhombus University
Rhombus University offers an online Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology, preparing students for licensure as Marriage and Family Therapists or Professional Clinical Counselors in California. The curriculum integrates psychological science with biblical principles, providing flexible, affordable education designed to be completed debt-free.
